Carrie taught pre-K through university level and was a faculty member of NASA's first NASA Explorer (NES) elementary school and Virginia's first science-focus school. At the University of Toledo, where Carrie did PhD work and coordinated multi-state STEM programs, she was a STEM Instructor working with elementary and middle school teachers, while serving as Board member on NMLSTA(National Middle Level Science Teachers Association). Prior to 20 years in STEM education, Carrie worked in the US House of Representatives, championing legislation to promote more opportunities for STEM equity education. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her STEM work including, AAUW (American Association of University Women) & AFA (Air Force Association) Virginia Educator of the Year, and CATALYST Award recipient, Ohio. In California, she continues to receive recognition and serves on multiple boards,including ECSTEM (Early Childhood Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Steering Committee. She is the STEM Curriculum Consultant on staff at the Children's Center at Caltech. Readiness Learning Associates, under Ms. Draper's direction, is the first STEM education organization in the State of California to have the Carnegie Science Center STEM Excellence Pathway seal. With a proven track record in launching sustainable STEM programs for Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations, Carrie is considered a STEM Visionary and Thought Leader, Carrie is a nationally known speaker and trainer. She works with the White House and the U.S. Department of Education, Office of STEM, Early Learning STEM Symposium, sharing her 30+ years of STEM education experience. Carrie serves clients at the local, state and national levels.

Rudo's primary responsibilities are providing program management support and coordination of various education projects for Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC). Rudo's experience in coordination of K-12 STEM activities for in-service, pre-service, middle and high school programs makes her a leader in STEM professional development. Before coming to VSGC she worked for NASA for ten years. She began her career at NASA Langley Research Center in 2004 as an Aerospace Education Specialist. 2007, Rudo became Coordinator for NASA Explorer Schools (NES), providing educational activities designed to engage educators and students in NASA missions of research and discovery. Prior to joining NASA, she taught physical science, Earth science and biology for ten years, and worked as a Physicist and Aerospace scientist at a science center for thirteen years.
